19" IGT Game King Upright Issue...Please help

My 19" IGT Game King Upright- late 90's model Model Number 96409200. Tilt believes it has either a 3802 or 3902 board.  (thanks Tilt).  It boots up fine and works for about a minute then shuts down and goes into either a blank screen and into what appears to be a reboot sequence where the dollar validator keeps chattering.  The monitor never turns on again.  If I power down and power back up right away it does not go into game mode and has same symptoms as described.  If I wait a week it will boot all the way up and then plays for 3-5 Minutes before it goes back into that reboot sequence.  As game is initializing i also get a "Line Frequency Detect Error".

Scanning other posts ...I believe that this is a power supply issue and am going to replace this old PS with a newer WP203F11PS with proper modifications as seen on another post.

Question is am I on the right track?  This isn't a battery issue on the MPU board or something else?

Sounds like a bad power supply to me.

Thanks Tilt!  I didn't want to get too far down the road since PS needs to be modified.
