Here is a thread from this page to help with typical settings on an S+. The S+ doesn't have a vfd so all the settings will be numerical. This is where the documents for your particular game chip would be handy.

I'm getting different responses to both the detail in that thread as well as the sticky to determine the game and reel chip set?!?  Am I doing something wrong or is it just another difference between the new/old s+ series?  ie, I can't seem to get to a  "8   x" window pair (or "2   x" for sounds either, if that matters)??

Referring back to the bezel.  I was referring specifically to the insert bezel itself and not the glass.  Notice that mine is just yellow yellow but yours has a "$5 to $100 Face Up" label?

I can't answer all your questions, but the sound menu won't be available if you have a 10mhz MPU board as it has the blue volume control wheel along the leading edge of the board whereas the 16mgz board has the menu option as volume is controlled electronically through the program and no volume control is present physically on the board.

As far as your nezel goes, they are available with several different message options, you got a blank one. If you want to replace it, contact one of the vendors on the homepage to see if they have what you're looking for. Blank ones are actually kind of difficult to find. The ones that say "Insert Bill or Ticket" seem to be the most common

Yea, I followed that FAQ.  Mine shows 4778/0 in winner paid and a constant 872 in the credit window?

There you go. You have SS4778 which is for a 2-coin Triple Sapphires game (97.429%), with SP872.
