IGT S and S-plus Reel Games / Re: triple diamond deluxe will not nudge up« Last post by knagl on Today at 09:48:57 PM »Now I am in search of both a motherboard and MPU that can run Triple Diamond Deluxe with HOPEFULLY the correct nudge. If you haven't done so already, I would suggest posting a WTB (Want To Buy) in the classifieds section with what you're looking for. Also, coincidentally, someone did post in the NLG Facebook group within the past day or so that he has S+ MPU and motherboards for sale. This is not a personal endorsement of him, just information for you that might be useful: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Newlifegames/posts/7354534287928857/ 4
IGT S2000 and Vision Games / Re: IGT Pink panther« Last post by filounet on Today at 09:39:51 PM »Hi, I meant it works then it doesn't work anymore then it works again, in short it's random and there doesn't seem to be any logic.
So when Therockinelvis wrote that he had experienced a strange breakdown in the past, I was wondering if the 3V battery is sufficient and if we shouldn't solder a 3.6V battery because the battery may not do well contact? 5
Bally Electromechanical / Re: Bally 809 belly lamp florescent tube size????« Last post by wolftalk on Today at 09:31:10 PM »the 400 parts manual says the reel tube and the belly tubes are different.
the 2200 manual also agrees ... the reel tube would be an F6TS/CW or F6TX/CW. I dunno if both those are the same as F6T5/CW, which is the common one available these days. 6

Bally Electromechanical / Re: Bally 809-N« Last post by Bruce G on Today at 08:02:37 PM »You didn't state the problems the machine is having. Because these are full of moving mechanical and electrical parts, these can suffer from sticky / dried out oil or grease. Parts need to be able to move freely, in order for things to work. These machines are a marriage of electrical and mechanical parts. Relay contacts need to be clean and correctly adjusted with adequate clearance, contact pressure and and over-travel. Buy a GC electronics "contact burnishing blade for cleaning up oxidized / fouled contacts. Never use any form of sand paper on delicate electrical contacts. The hopper also contains moving mechanical electrical components that are prone to becoming gummed up. Check inside the top box, as there may be steppers in there - and those require service as well. The "Jones " plugs on the mechanism, hopper, stepper must be clean and carefully aligned. If not making good contact on all of the pins - some or all features of a game won't work. I use 100% synthetic electric motor oil on these. No detergents in the oil. You can use sewing machine oil, or 3 in 1 electric motor oil in the blue bottle. Do not use 3 In 1 in the red and black bottle, as it contains waxes that will gum up.
