WBA-12-SS Bill Validator question
« on: April 27, 2014, 01:57:02 PM »
I have what I think is a IGT S2000 Triple Lucky machine.  When the credit count gets high, the bill acceptor does not work.  This is a 25 cent machine.  When I had 1200 credits, the acceptor was dark.  I took it out and reinserted it, and the motors work, but the light is not on and it will not take a bill.  I cashed the credits out, and the bill acceptor started to work again.  Now, once again, the credits are high (2300), and the bill acceptor does not take any bills.
There is some further information on the label of the bill validator, which is a number (91701205-LH), and a letter code (IOD:24) and a version number?(V3.35-29), and some letters (LAI).

Is this normal to not accept bills when the credits count is high?

Can this be fixed easily?

I appreciate any help on this.

Don

This is normal. In the LIMITS setting of the machine you can set the B/V to shut off at a set number of credits. The max is usually 3000
If it ain't broke.....Stop trying to fix it.

Thanks for the reply.  I am happy to know that this is normal.  I expect that I can change the point at which this happens in the options settings under section 3, machine settings.  I'll have to raise the number, my wife likes to put a buck in every now and then regardless of the amount of credits.  She feels that this causes the machine to pay quicker.  Thanks again for the information.
