Reel spinning backwards, door M open, coin-in jam
« on: July 12, 2018, 06:55:31 AM »
:Scratch-Head: Ok, I used to have a netplex down error which through my work I somehow got to go away. The current symptoms are that I have a dead button panel so I cannot go much further than the one spin start up at which once finishes leaves me with a door M open and coin-in jam. Early in this experience I attempted a door sensor by pass and for whatever reason (I do not recall) I failed at it so placed everything back where I found it. Problem is, that I know now that I do not have a good alignment of the door sensors and so I may want to try the bypass again.

Replaced 2 digi 9-LINE PAYLINE DISPLAY

I notice that unless I disconnect an I/O board or two, that none of my red LED displays light up at all.

I know how many people seemed to have cleared these errors up by replacing the I/O's be it the one on the door or the one next to the MPU - and I am guessing this may be my next step?

So, current symptoms are:
- the reels spins backwards once at start up
- None of the LED panels light
- potential main door sensor alignment bad and potentially un-alignable

This said, what do you pro's think I should do next?

Thanks a bunch,

Scott

The I/O cards is what should have been done first. You read through another post where that was also suggested then went to the very end of the post and chose to change out the payline screen? If your buttons are not working it is most likely the door I/O card(s).that being said I have had the cab I/O and the 5-5-2 display cause backwards reel spin.

Thank you for your input, much appreciated. One of the reasons I didn't change the I/O cards first was because I wasn't even sure that this machine had the correct cards in it to begin with. (I know bad logic). So, before I go out and get new I/O cards I would like to post pictures of them here to see what everyone thinks whether or not I have the correct cards here. Looks as if the inner card near mpu is a 99730 and the two other cards in the door are 99731's. Are these correct for a white ice machine S2000 enhanced 7551270? See attached I/O pics. Please advise.
And thank you again!
Scott

Check the p/n on the other side of the cards . Door should end in an 801 and an 802 or two 802s
Cab should end in 0200

When checking IO card numbers be sure to look at the tag on the board itself and ,ot the one on the case

K guys, thanks again for all the assistance but I am still dumbfounded on this S2000 machine with these I/O's because while they may look like the 801'2 and 2's I have been accustom to for some reason these don't have any type of numbers that I have ever seen. Again, I took full pics of all 3 of them both front and back in hopes that someone here might place where these belong if not indeed in my White Ice s2000. I am unfortunately clueless. Please see attached pics. Much appreciated!

Check the p/n on the other side of the cards . Door should end in an 801 and an 802 or two 802s
Cab should end in 0200
Door I/O 75427802.     Does 802 at the end of the P/N Help?
You have two 802s

Cab I/O 14930200 is what you should be using I'm not familiar with what you have there(75427601). Others may know if yours is good. But from my experience a cab I/O will cause backwards reel spin. I would get a 14930200 first and try that

Ok, luckily I had an ole GK17 laying around with 2 I/O's in it and went ahead and put them into the s2000 and WEEEEEHAAAAAAA! Wheels spinning fwd! Was able to clear the coin-in error but now am getting a machine type mismatch. THinking about wiring the door cherry switch wires together as well as the door M bypass too since I keep getting the door open M error. THoughts?
You guys rock! Thanks all!

You can't just wire the cherry like that it appears the optics are working leave them alone.
Open the door press the MPU button and navigate on the panel buttons to 7.1.6 and set the game type.
Which card did you replace? Cab i/o?
