my docs say the 831-C-SD was for bally siesbye (denmark). The schematic is w-1046-951.
it used the same payout counter diagram as the -C and -D models. The odd thing is the -D schematic shows three cherries pays 12, while the -C schematic says three cherries pays 10.
all three games use the same payout counter disc, and it only has a 10 trace, not a 12.
so one of the following is going on:
1] the schematic for the -D model is wrong
2] my documentation is wrong (the -C, -C-SD and -D didn't all use the same contact plate)
3] the game was offered in different payback percentages and I can't tell from my docs whether the schems are different. e.g. The 831-D was available in 84.54% and 83.69% payback. The difference could be pay table amounts or different symbol frequency on reel tapes.
4] there may be another wiper arm on the payout counter unit that is roughly opposite the big span of wipers and by wiring some traces in the upper left corner of the disc, you can add a couple coins to the payout. I thought when this wiper arm was present it was for handling winning on more than one line at the same time ...
got a picture of your payout counter unit? Ideally at reset and also stepped up 10 times, and pics taken from back far enough to see the entire contact plate and wire colors attached to the edges. Also a picture of the payouts.
M-645-141 is correct per my docs.
