Yes they will fit. edge lite buttons will fit in the dynamic buttons I believe. They are the same size. But I dont have any to compare

You will need to update your blackfin board.  Both newer boot prom and firmware for the edgelit buttons to work.

Rick, Does this sound right? I got the machine from Fireball and think he told me the machine was already set up for edge lit. Will non edge lit work with the blackfin you are talking about. In other words, if he took out the edge lit before I got it and replaced with non. Waiting for him to get back to me

Yes, it works the other way around, i.e. if he had edgelits before and replaced them with non-edgelits, you can put back the edgelits as long as you didn't change the board back (which is unlikely).  You can check which version you have in the version section of your ekey or admin menus. You should have version BFDB008E.

This is what he emailed last year. I have a 14 button deck, can I do 10 lit and 4 non?


It has non-edge lit dynamic buttons. You can install edge lit ones yourself. Just swap out. The driver board has already been updated to the latest and greatest.

Yes, I read the above. I have not entered any menu's. I have an E key but have no clue how to use it. I don't mess with a working machine. I will need to learn at some point. Is it in the avp section?
