MK6 comm board
« on: May 06, 2020, 09:33:53 AM »
I have two different comm boards  for an MK6 machine.  If I put in the first board, everything works great.  If I put in the second board, it boots up fine, but the button panel is totally dead.  Everything else looks good, the validator accepts Bill's and credits are added.
Any ideas on what I could do to make the second comm board work properly?

There are two different types of I/O boards. You have to use the same type in the picture you posted of the one that works.

Thanks for the reply.  Do you know what the second board would be used for?  It is certainly populated differently.

The other board was for MK5 or MK6 that has the button panel that dont have the big "spin" bash button.

Thanks for replying on this.  That makes perfect sense to me now.  I have a machine with the small spin button as well as the machine with the large button that I tried this board in.  I should have looked at the other machine.  Thanks again!
