neoprene piston cup seal

hi boys,

is there any solution for a dissolved cup seal is there any NOS or aftermarket optios or some other solutions? I don't like the feel without anything on the piston.

Some have used the proper sized brake cup seal and just cut the hole out in the center.

A 15/16” brake piston seal works. Use a 1/2” punch or if you have a piece of 1/2” copper pipe lying around, sharpen the end and that will punch it as well. An easy route is EBay. There is a seller in New Mexico who lists them.

Remove it and clean up the piston. You don't need any seal. It works just fine.

I just used my last one that Badbaud suggested over the weekend.  Once changed they do not go bad again for decades.  I still have some games that I put the cups on in 2005 and the cup looks new.  Keystone is correct also, as usual.  The game works perfectly fine without the cup in the piston.  The handle returns slightly faster though.  Remember to clean out, without enlarging, the small hole in back of the piston tube.
