CEI Draw Poker - Issues after moving.
« on: December 28, 2022, 03:58:16 PM »
Here to pick your brains once again guys. I used this machine daily up until 2020 when we moved from Minnesota to Tennessee. Machine worked fine when we loaded it up, 1100 miles later unloaded it, plugged it in an nothin. I could see when I powered it off that the video was still working but wouldn't give me a screen. I set it on the back burner until today. Pulled the power supply an see someone was a smart ass and pulled one of the harnesse's. I put it back in place an woohoo it working again.
As stated in my earlier posts about this, (https://newlifegames.com/nlg/index.php?topic=25233.0)
its been frankinstined as far as using coins or in my case, tokens that would never work again. The only mode I could get to work with it was timmed play. Gives you 30 60 90 or 120 minutes of free play for fun. I was happy as a lark to see my $30 investment working again. I left it on to time out an went to do some other things. When I came back it was " off". turned it off then on again I heard the chime which ment the clock had reset an play could resume. Only this time I got no video an when powered off I saw nothing on the screen. There is power going to the monitor, saw no bulging caps or cracked resistors. Nothing obvious to explane why it just stopped working. Is there a way top test the monitor or is it toast? For the right price if it is, in fact, the monitor, I'll buy it if anyone has one. My happiness only lasted 2 hours an now this issue. Im hoping for some input from the God of electronics here. Please advise. Also should note there was no heat coming from it like one would expect from a major burn.

thank you in advance, Chris
