Welcome to NLG and congratulations on your machine purchases! We have lots of folks here that are familiar with the IGT brand, the S+ and S2000 are very popular models. The idplate on the side of the machine can be handy for some information but it often does not explicitly say the common model name. So we usually just go by the photo a person posts. Your photos are not displaying, photobucket is getting a bad rep for not being as easy or good to use anymore. You might want to try a different photo hosting website such as
http://imgur.com/ or
https://postimage.io/. Both are free, fast and easier to use than photobucket.
Since some of your machines have a printer they are probably the model S2000, plus that's what the seller told you so it is probably correct. The printer is not necessary to play the machine but it can be added, there are different places where you can buy the printer and some of the parts sellers/vendors here can probably help with that. Keep in mind that with the printer you won't be able to make tickets that can be used in a casino or that will be accepted by your machine. That would be a security no-no for the casino, so printing tickets that the machine will work with is controlled by the casino's own computer server in a secure room, travels over the casino's computer controlled-network to the slot machine. Many people that want to use a ticket system at home install an aftermarket ticket setup called "Bettor TITO" that is available from one of the NLG participating vendors, here is more info about it:

Depending on the machine this can also be done to change the payout from one percentage to another. This is a frequent question new owners have and it can be done. However in home use you may not see the dramatic change you think will occur when you go from say 88% to 96% because the machine is designed to accommodate this over thousands of spins. The number of spins the home user will play is much smaller than what happens in the casino. It's possible your machines are already at the highest or one of the highest payback percentages, so I'd find out what they are before going too far on that issue. If you can post a photo of the game chips on the mpu board, or tell us what is written on the game chip labels, then we can tell you more details about your game software.
Also, on the S2000 machines I think there may be a way to change the payout percentage electronically, someone more familiar with that process can tell us about that. The machine has preference and operating choices that can be changed, some changes require the use of a "key" chip. This is where you temporarily remove one of the game chips on the mpu board and install a special "key" chip. When you power up the machine the key chip will let you change certain settings. When done you save the settings, power down and reinstall the original game chip. Here is a little more about that:
http://newlifegames.com/nlg/index.php?topic=2145.msg10956#msg10956The main circuit board that controls the machine is called the "mpu" board, it is essentially a specialized computer board. This board has the game software chips, they are in sockets so they can be replaced fairly easily. Although some owners buy an eprom programmer and then track down the game software to load into the eprom many just buy the software chips already programmed from a slot machine parts vendor or another hobbyist.
Sometimes when a casino gets rid of a machine they will leave unwanted circuit boards inside that were used to connect the machine to their casino network. These circuit boards are often of no use to the home owner. They can be removed from the machine or left in place, the machine will operate fine either way. You can post a photo of them and someone here can tell you what they are.
Hopefully the door locks you ordered will take care of that problem for you. Another option is to install what are called "shipping locks", they are simply locks that don't use a key, you just turn the handle. This way you don't need to worry about keeping up with the keys. But if you have children around that might open the door when it is powered up, or if you intend to keep coins in the coin hopper, then you may want to use the real locks. Here is an example of the "no-key" twist style shipping locks:

One of the NLG staff people will move the WTB into our Classified Ads area and anyone that has the item will contact you about it. The Classified Ads area is free to everyone for reading and for Want To Buy requests, but only NLG contributing members can post items
for sale. Becoming a contributing member also gives you access to the NLG download area where there are sometimes useful manuals and other documentation that you can download. And you get entries in the yearly prize giveaways NLG has. Donations can be big or small, continuing or one-time, all are appreciated and help keep the NLG website available. To find out more about becoming a contributing member click below or look on the NLG home page, left side about halfway down the screen:

Notice the 2 speakers (circled in the photo) that are on either side of the machine, this is one of the ways to identify an S2000. Slot machines come in "square-top" and in "round-top" versions, an S2000 can be either way.
