Help with my Igt tripple tripple diamnond slant slot machine

I really hope someone can help me on how to setup this slot machine. Its the igt tripple tripple diamond slant slot machine. Model # GC33C DAte MFD. 10/94 Is there any video's of this slot machine, or is there anyone that has one, can make a video for me please. Does anyone have or know where I can download the manual for this slant slot machine. Thank you for any help anyone can do for me. I am new to the slot machine, and just like to know how to set it and make it pay in quarter's or and credits. It pays in credits right now. The man I bought it from had the cash out button disconnected. He said that way no one would push it and it would cash out all of it, but you would have to be sure to have enough in the coin hopper. and the bill accepter he said he disconnected because it does not take the newer bills. but it lights up, but when I put a dollar bill in it, it don't do anything. Not sure how to hook it back up. I asked him, but he said he don't remember.

There are several S+ manuals in the file section here on NLG, but you need to be a contributing member to access it.  You can make a one time contribution if you want and then download it. 

If you want to have the machine pay in coins rather than credits then you'll need to hook the button back up.  The cash out button is actually a cash/credit button.  When it's lit any wins will go to the credit meter, when not lit then the coins will be paid from the hopper. 

Not sure what he may have disconnected from the bill validator.  Normally the bezel lights do not illuminate unless the validator is powered up and ready to accept a bill.  You'll have to pull it out and look for any wires that are laying loose and hook them back up if you find any.  Depending to the validator model you can update it so it will accept some of the newer currency.  When you pull it out to look for the disconnected wire(s) post a picture of it and of any labels on it too and post them.  That will help us determine what it can be updated to.

I hooked the cashout button back, it worked but had over 200 credits and had to make
Sure I had enough quarters to cash it out. But it works as it should.
Only thing is it flashes and not just stays lit but when I hit the cash out
Button ot does cash out. I did take some pictures of the bill validator,  it's all hooked up as I can see
But it shoes it's on as you can see it's green light where you put the money in.
Also I did not know how to get the credits that was over 200 to clear it out to 0.
But I also like to know how do you set the odds on this. I can't figure it out.
I have the two pachislo skill slot machines and it's easy to do, but don't
Know anything about the igt ones and how to set odds. It won't let me send one picture I took of the bill validator

Well I may be biased, but you picked the best one to join for help.  Actually there's only a couple dedicated to slots and the other is geared towards the professionals who work at casinos, while we focus more on recreational home users. 

The cash/credit settings can be changed in the game software.  It depends on the Game PROM you have installed in your machine.  The payback percentage is determined by your reel PROM and can't be changed via software.  You have to get a different one for you game if you want higher or lower paybacks.  Pull your MPU board out and hopefully there will be labels on them with numbers.  You can look up your game in the "S+ Bible".  There's a link to it on the home page.  Then click on the type of machine you have 2 coin, 3 coin, etc.  Then the game title.  It will show you the different reel chips that were made for your game along with the paybacks. 

When you cashed out it didn't take the credits all the way down to zero?

To post pictures you have to resize them as necessary to get them less than 1MB.  That's the max attachment size allowed on the board.

But I also like to know how do you set the odds on this. I can't figure it out.  I have the two pachislo skill slot machines and it's easy to do, but don't Know anything about the igt ones and how to set odds.

The payout percentage is determined by the REEL ("SS") chip installed on the processor board. There is no adjustment within the machine to change the payout -- you have to change a physical chip on the board with a different chip to change the payout percentage.

The DBV-45 is a really old validator and even if you manage to get it working it's not going to take any of the current currency except for the $1 bill.  The $1 is the only bill that hasn't changes in decades and that why it still works.  You may want to consider getting a DBV-200 for it, that will get you everything except for the current $100 bill and the purple $5's.

I don't see anything disconnected, but it still won't even take 1.00 bills at all. I put it in, but nothing happens at all. maybe its just not working or something, but I have tried to look really good even where its going to behind the glass door. I guess I can try get a newer one, but seems like something not connected, and the man I got it from said he forgot what he disconnected. So I really have not clue whats wrong.

I don't know either.  You said everything was connected and that it lit up, but it has a problem somewhere and being that old probably isn't worth a lot of time and effort to figure it out.  Check with Jim at Midwest slots, he may have a DBV-200 for it.

Yea, your probely right, I'm not really to worried about it to be honest, as long as its working. I may sell this one, and get me tripple diamond igt slot machine with the hand pull. I don't want another one of these, because this things weighs just way to much, I swear it felt like 600 or more pounds trying to get it up 3 steps. Had my son help, but yea it's just not worth my time or putting more money into it. Thank you for all your help on this. Just hard to find the one I want for 600.00 or less that works good, nothing wrong with it. Anyway, Thank you.

Yes, you're absolutely correct about that.  Slant tops are extremely heavy!
