Greetings,

Finally got Willy Wonka running on my BB2E with an upgraded NXT3.2 CPU in.

Hoping someone else running Willy Wonka on a NXT3.2 CPU might know how I can address a “quirky” issue I noticed with sound during play.

I’ve played the exact game in casinos so I know how it should be.

When I credit in and play the game.  The slow Wonka theme music just keeps playing with the top video showing what looks like attract mode video.  It continues playing the whole time and never stops, so there’s no sound feedback heard as the reels spin or stop.

If you get a payline win, you can barely hear it.  As it’s overshadowed by the higher volume of the basic theme music that’s constantly playing.

It only stops that boring attract sound music if you hit a bonus.  Then the bonus stops that theme music until it completes.  Don’t think it should do that.  It didn’t on casino machines.  ???

I’m wondering if the OS CF provided isn’t an exact match for the game and might be the cause and I should just use a different OS CF version.

Hard to believe it would be the game itself doing it as it’s very annoying.

It’s like watching a movie where the background audio level is too high so you can’t hear the voice dialog over it.

But there’s no adjustment for audio except one volume setting.   So hoping using a different OS version might fix that.

Anyone who has Willy Wonka experience this?

Would anyone running Willy Wonka be able to tell me what OS version they’re using on their machine with it?

Thanks!
