SB100009 is also used for Triple Lucky 7's.

Gotta love IGT for this...

Reread my first post on this thread, I added an edit before I saw the replies after.  It has info on those SG chips (mainly they're for AC Coin games!)

This is a triple butterfly 7s. 9 line 5 bet max. I have tried a sb100992 with the same results. I have two sets of the sg000598 and have tried both. I agree it must me something in the chip sets I'm using but at a loss from there.
Thanks for all the help.

So you swapped the 539s for 598s? I missed that in all the posts.  What version IVC are you using?

3R9L5CR ????
Are you sure
3R5L5CR is SB100208
I do not show 9L5CR on a 3 reel machine.
What is the top payout? Better yet post a picture of the top and reel glass.
I thought 598s were for 5 reel machines.

I was wondering that too, I figured just a typo. Never saw a 3 reel 9 line game before.
5 reel, 9 line 45 credits sure. Ditto for 3 reel, 5 line, but then I've not seen every single slot machine out there either.

I was wondering the same thing on how this could be 9 line by looking at the glass and the size of the reel strips it would be impossible to see the top pay lines.
The version chip is a vs011gx1

That's a new one on me then!

Anyway, still wondering what IVC chip you're using to RAM clear the game with.  It needs to be at least a 223 and a keychip 45 or an IVC 224.

That is a 3R9L45CR glass
SB100992  I suggest a set of 363s for SGs

I'm checking on my clear chip from where I bought it. It just has S2000 clear on it. I do have a 45 key chip.
When I put the clear chip in it does the same thing, blinking red light.

Keychip 45 works on everything.  It replaced Keychip 31.  Last week I did some PAR changes and they were a mix of S2000 enhanced and regular boards, used 223 and key45 on all of them.

Thanks
I'm working on getting a 223 clear and a set of 363 and see where that gets me.

I wouldn't bother with the 223, I'd get the 224/45 combo. Never heard of a 223 being used before. I use 224 for everything from standard S2000 to Reel Touch to Barcrest on 500 and 1270 series boards and have never had an issue. Only thing they don't work on is R boards

Well I got it working. But I still don't know what was wrong!  I tried every game chip I had and every version chip and still got the same blinking red light. I swapped the mother board to a 960 and the cpu to a 504, used the SG000598 game chips, the SB100992 sb chip.
Cleared it and it plays as it should. This one really had me stumped.(not that I'm anywhere near being an  expert at this hobby)
Thanks again to all that helped me thru this nightmare!
Bob

I'm almost sure it was that your clear chip was not a 223 or 224. It was probably a clear 97 and they just don't work on enhanced boards.
Glad you got it working.

Thanks Rich
I have a 224 clear coming so when it gets here I'm going to put these boards in another S2000 I have and see if that is it.
