S2000 Wild Cherry strip numbers

I have a back lit strip set for Wild Cherry. Numbers are 2X 85874100 and 1X 85874400. I looked just about everywhere on the site to find out what these will go with and the corresponding chip set needed. Trying to build a single line, 3 coin. Thanks.

SB100095. Those strips are interchangeable.

those numbers are for S+ strips ( maybe gray backing)   I have a different number for S-2000 backlit strips.

These strips have the gray backing/transparent symbol areas. Did they make strips for the S+ like that? I thought that any strips with this backing were for back lit S2000?

a lot of later strips for S+ were made like that,  early ones had a white backing.  you can use those strips on a S-2000, HOWEVER CONDITIONS APPLY,  the S+ strips will fit onto S-2000 non back lit reels with no problem,  to put them onto s-2000 back lit reels, they have to be trimmed down about a 1/16 of an inch.  takes a little effort and patience, but it can be done.

Absolutely correct. Just tried putting them onto a set of S2000 back lit reels...........not so much. Just a tad, as you said 1/16th, too wide. Too thin of a cut for me to try, probably end up cutting off my finger. Thanks for the help everybody, appreciate it.

Chris, here's what happens when you install the grey backs on backlit reels (see pic). Wild cherry pays above & below the payline. For some reason the center payline lights when the Wild Cherry stops on one of the position lines. This was a flaw in the factory SB. You can see the light thru the grey backing. I prefer the game non backlit but you can use the true backlit strips with black backing. The center line will still light but the black blocks it better & also allows some of the light to been seen thru the Wild Cherry Symbol. When the symbol falls on the center payline it is not an issue. Wild Cherry was my favorite IGT game in the S Plus days. I've seen many variations in strips & glass. Some have yellow triple bars, some orange. Wild Cherry logos vary in color too.

Got it. These strips are not the correct ones for an S2000 back lit unless I want to "trim" them down a bit, which I don't want to attempt. So on to plan "B". Have a complete set pretty much line up, but no confirmation as of yet. Thanks again for the insight. Hey, maybe I'll win the Bettor Slots Give Away
