Where does the backlit control board power connector come from?
« on: September 25, 2016, 12:59:40 AM »
hi folks!
I have my backlit reels all installed and connected. I got the associated harnesses and the control board as well. The machine plays fine but there are no lights operating. The control board is mounted and the two connectors from the I/O board and the feed to the reels are in place but there is obviously a power feed connector that needs to be plugged in. In the pic it shows the vacant socket where I figure it plugs into. I have looked high and low for an extra connector and there is none present in the wire loom nor in the adjacent area.
Can someone please show me where this feeder comes from?
Thanx!

Thanx for that post. I did see that post and quite a few others even searching back into the archives, but still I don't have the power connector harness. I am assuming that the power feeder harness comes from the power supply. I will reach out to the classified section for a harness to plug this baby in.

 Thanx!

Should be tucked up somewhere under the reel shelf on the right side behind the cash box area. Possibly up where the wires are coming from the power supply.

Hi, qbert!
I have scoured this thing for that elusive connector and it is no where to be seen. This is a very early S2000 cab and it just might not be in here. I have pulled the BV out completely and looked behind there. Scoured around the pull handle area...nada.
It just plain ain't in there 😡
Thanx.

Used an old Molex from a PC power supply..

Tapped into the feeders from the power supply to the mother board. All is well now.
Thanx for the help guys!

it is from 11/1997. Yup. It's an early one.
Finished adding my topper too. It's a slant top cab and the topper had a round top base but nothing a Bridgeport mill can't rectify!
