S2000 Coins to Credit Question..

I have a S2000 running a S+ game. I can usually set the machine up to allow it to take coins to the credit meter. For example this is a 2cn game, but if put 2 coins or more in they are returned to the coin tray. I'm use to having the machine accept the first 2 coin to play, and having the others go to the credit meter.. I am running 129 game 1&2 chips, I usually run 363's.. Is this where my problem lays, because the machine will not allow me to do this?

Did you select coin to credit when you programmed it?

SG000129 does support coin to credit according to the PSR. You can only change it with a key chip. Menu 7.1.10.2.

Can I use my 45 key chip with 129's or should I use something else?

The 45 should work but frankly, I usually go with a newer pair of SG chips. 363 on a 50x, 523 or 598 on a 1270x for most games.

I tried to get the 129 to allow me to have coins go to credit, but when I did try to go to sub menu 7.1.10.2 it was not showing up. So I ended up swapping to a set of 363's and everything's now good. I should have just went with them in the beginning, but I figured I had those SG000129  set laying around why not use them.
