S2000 bill validator problem

WBA12/13 programmed for IDO24 V 3.80.
Key mode shows BV enabled.
BV works fine in my Game King and cycles but in this S2000 it does not light up the bezel or accept bills.
The game is one of those multi denomination games but I have only programmed the first denomination as 1 cent.
The game takes quarters and pays out of the hopper at 25 cents per coin out, excess below 25 cent remaining is hand paid by turning JP reset key.
Is the game programmed wrong?
What else could be wrong?

No key chip needed. Zero credits required to make changes. The default setting is usually $1000 for BV when using a multi denom Version chip. Credit limits can affect the BV too.

Looks like the  game already auto config'd the BV settings.
Limits and credit limit was set already.
Someone mentioned I may have the wrong software in the bill validator.
Is there a difference between WBA software on a Game King verses a S2000?

GK  and S2000 are the same protocol 024. Have you tried a working unit from another machine? Auto configure is in menu 4.3 I believe. Goto menu 4 and its in there. Press spin when you locate it and the validator will cycle. Does the machine work otherwise?

I removed the  WBA from my GK and plugged it into the S2000.
In the GK it worked fine, took new $100.
The S2000 works fine, takes quarters, pays quarters, spins etc.
The wiring harness on the back of the BV matches the wiring on my GK.

I found netplex auto config inside the I/O test menu.
That gave me BV CRC mismatch and closing the door reset that.
The BV now works, thanks for all of your help.
Next step is finding instructions for programming the 4 denominations for the game.
it was set for 1 cent only but there is a touch pad behind the 25c in the middle and I want to make it 25c, 50c, 1$, and 5$.
