Here are my "near mint" cleo strips. My OEM strips look a bit different. The part number is written vertically as seen. While I cannot attest to erbs strips for sure, the original poster's strips are not OEM. There is no way IGT would ever sell something that far off. My old digital camera has some color issues. The blue background on the gold plaque is indeed purple on my strips, but my camera's CCD sensor sees them as blue. I lined up the reels so that where the strip joins up are even (or pretty close to even) on all 5 reels so you can see the blank spacing between symbols is the same as it is throughout the length of the strip. My aftermarket strips had the issue of the original poster, where the blank where the strip joined up had the bigger spacing, thus throwing the alignment off.

So are you thinking the strips on my machine are reproductions? No way those can be made to work correctly. I guess I need new correct strips.? How and where would I get them.. Sunkist said they could.make them for more than $150. Is that the only option? And how would they know how to make them for my machine?

I don't remember ever seeing a 5 reel slant machine. I know the 3 reel machines use the same strips, just the notch on the reel baskets are different.

Sunkist graphics maskes OEM strips for a lot of the manufacturers. Their strips would be of good quality. Finding Cleo strips in good condition is very difficult, the game is so old, so the machines coming out of casinos with them now are really faded. I don't think $150 for new strips from a good known source is a bad price. I've paid more than that for certain used strips.

The strip part numbers on leocat168's strips all begin with "8467....". But the part numbers for erbs and rickhunters strips begin with "8466...". Is it possible both sets of strips are orig IGT strips but the "8467" strips were for a different reel and/or a different machine?

Is there a list of IGT strip part numbers somewhere?

leocat168- you mentioned earlier that Mike at Sunkist had referred you to NLG. Since you have contact with him maybe you could ask him what the part number is on the Cleopatra strips they make. Maybe send him a photo of your strips and ask about the white space and length of strips they would make.

There might have been a Vision Cleopatra, I think I saw a list of Vision game themes that had Cleopatra on it but I might be remembering wrong. Does the Vision machine have reels that are different size from S2000? That could explain the 2 different Cleopatra strip part numbers. Or maybe it is just that one set is washable or backlit and the other is not?

Also, I just saw that Cleopatra is on the S3000, and it is a 5 reel machine. Any chance those S3000 Cleopatra strips are what are on this machine?

There is a 3 reel Cleo vision. Don't know about 5 reel.

No they are the same. But most visions do not have backlit reels. (same as non backlit s2000)

ok, thanks. Any ideas on how to explain the set of 5 reel Cleopatra strips that have part number beginning with 8467, but 2 other members have 5 reel Cleopatra strips with part number that begin with 8466?

No, maybe a non back-lit number? Mine have the black backs (back-lit) and start with 8466 also.

Could be that the different part number is due to the backlit/non-backlit difference. But that wouldn't explain the symbol alignment problem and extra-wide white space at the overlap when the strips are installed. If the overlap was done opposite of how it should be that would reduce the visible amount of white space at end of strip, but the IGT part number would show.

hi, sorry I fell asleep last night lol. maybe the strips I have arnt backlit? but the reels on the machine are.

Seems to me the strips are 1/4 inch short which is what's throwing the alignment off..worse as you get to the end. I'll let you know if I get any information from sunkist
