Hi,

I come back about this machine that I have problem
The first is the display that does not work and I do not see or control? I think it is the CPU but where?
The second point, is it possible to replace the CPU board of this machine which is an AS-2978-3 with an AS-2978-6 or an AS-2978-7?
Finally my last question concerns the hooper, I have two identical machines and the first hooper works but not the second in the test number 4, it does not pay 10 tokens, or should we watch?

If your machine has the MPU with the piggy back ram board, I donâ€™t think you can use the latter version boards in that game. If you canâ€™t locate a replacement you could send it into KLar in Las Vegas. As for your hopper board again there are two different board styles. Depending on what board you have, there are a couple different possible problems. If you have the smaller 1000 series hopper board, I would think itâ€™s Q2 MAC 15-8 Triac. If you have the larger 2000 series hopper board, and I have seen these in a 1000 machine. I would check the two diodes CR11 & CR12, or the Q3 MAC 15-6 15A 400V Triac. Also have you checked your hoppers fuse if it has one on the hopper base?

Hi,

The fuse of the hooper is good and it is actually a card for E-1000
The triac is not rather a MAC15-6?
Anyway I do not have this reference, is there an equivalent?

Iâ€™m sure itâ€™s the Mac 15-6. I have used them before on the 1000 board. I just wrote down what my book said. It could be a typo in the book. It should say on you Boards part.

I don't have a TRIAC MAC15-6, is-it possible to replace it with a TRIAC BTB16-400B?

The BTB16-400B is a 16 amp, 400 volt triac, so should be ok.

I have some BTA16-600BW that Iâ€™ve used and they work. As long as they are rated the same or higher they should work.

As for your other AS-2979-1 ram board they are rare and usually sold with the MPU Board if you can find them.
