S2000 Double Diamond Tournament Chips Pay incorrectly
« on: January 02, 2019, 12:14:29 PM »
I am trying to convert a 3 coin double diamond slot into a tournament machine but when the software is installed it does not pay out correctly.  For instance 3 double diamonds pays out 30 credits and not the 2500.  I am using an SBT000555 and have tried the following SG chips  SG000626, SG000093, SG000294.   When I install the original SB000154 and SG000312 the game plays correctly.  All three reel strips are the same.  In the base table test setting all reels to 02, which is three 7's it pays 120 not 240.  In basetable test setting all reels to 06, double diamonds it pays 30.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All three of mine are exactly the same.  I see you gave to offset yours to get them to match. Mine match the one on the right where the 7 is at the top

I am not saying that this is the problem but it is a possibility......
The reel SIMMs ??  you are using are likely paired with the reel strips.
The tournament chips are for an S+ I am wondering if you would get the same results if you used a Reel chip from a S+ double diamond.

What are the numbers on the reel strips ?? and how do they compare to the numbers found on reel strips from a S+ double diamond ?

If there is indeed a difference then I would think that the solution would be:
a. Get different (S+) reel strips so when you play in tournament mode you get the correct pays.
or
b. Get different S2000 tournament simms.
or
c. Get S+ Reel (non tournament chips) and offset the reel strips you have to match up to correct pay.
If you can't afford to lose you can't afford to win.

You do have the right strips. I'm not familiar with that SBT. I can't imagine the strips would be any different. The pic of the two strips I posted depicts a DD Haywire strip left & the standard DD single line on the right. Just wanted to make sure yours were right. You could try SBT00495 or a SB001000 in conjunction with a ST0001 or ST0014 chip for 3C DD. You will need the tournament SG chips for any of those combos.

RB's suggestion worked.  The Splus tournament software worked on the machines.   :applause:
