5 reel game chipset

i just got a Triple butterfly 7 5 reel slot machine ..i am trying to install a netplex  printer ..The printer is hooked up ..i went to the menu and tried to enable the printer..it would not enable, then i used a 3 reel s2000 chip and went through the process and tried to enable the printer and was not able to ..i was told i needed a 5 reel chipset not a 3 reel because there was not enough space to load both 3 and 5 reel info....any info would be great...thanks

Just use your key chip. It will work for either 3 or 5 reel. Must have zero credits to use it.

I tried it and it still would not let me enable the printer .i would go through the menu’s to printer andi will say enable and push the button to enable It and  nothing happens ..are there another button to push to enable it ..tried all of them..thanks

What key chip are you using? A 17, 31 or 45 should allow it unless for some reason netplex isn't detecting the printer. Are you sure the printer you installed is a netplex printer?

The printer is a gen2 netplex ..and there is communication between the 2 ..the machine is a triple butterfly 7.the credits were cleared out before

I will need to check , I have 7 machines 4 S+ and 3 S2000 and 1 S2000 is a 5 reel ..I only have one chip and it so far has worked on all the machines except for the 5 reel in respect to enabling the printer.i was told that I needed a different chip for the five 5 reel to enable the printer and other things do to space on the chip

I ordered a key31, that I hope we can use. Then through my research I discovered that you may need a different type of chip RBK0001. If that's the case then we may need to clear it also

RBK00001 is for flash boards. It has both clear & key features. If you don't have a flash board game the key 31 should work. I always recommend a IVC00224 & KEY00045 though. Those will clear & key any S 2000 except flash boards. I have those chips if interested.
