You need a CF card or bally USB flash drive with the OS files on it and the installer CF Card.  Pawnstars also requires the top wheel assembly to work.  You should also always install the OS before the game, as you may run into issues if you do the game before the OS.

Hi Rick thanx for responding, im pulling my hair out trying to figure this out, long story(ill make it short) I bought a v22/22 without the cpu. I bought a cpu with the bios/jurs chip everything booted up fine except for the screen where you add the denomination. I tried over and over but nothing worked with the clear chip or installer compact flash. I have like 3 o.s cards one ends with 317 the other two 335-5 and last 335-9. I figured the o.s was corrupt so I removed it and cleared everything, now neither o.s card will install with the install card(compact flash format) the games will install but not the o.s. I don't even know if mabe the o.s (compact flash cards) are compatible.

You need alpha 2 OS for V22/22 machine.  Those are for A1 machines.  366J is a good A2 OS.

I heard that 351 will let you play some, not all, dongle games without a dongle.  Maybe someone can add to that, I don't have any dongle games or 351 OS.

It's OS 361F not 351 that bypasses the dongle issue on a handful of games.

Be aware that the newer OS like 366J and up come on a Bally OEM thumb drive so unless your CPU is set up to load off a thumb drive you will have to transfer the files from it to a NTFS formatted CF card.
