Glad you got it working, I was going to have you try that very same operation,  some boards are marked Q-2 and others are Q-4.   still some unanswered questions, LED working on the cc-16?   does the coin optic button work?

also.... Do coins fall to the hopper after 3 credits or back to the coin tray ?


Jim - I believe they cut Q4 when they put in a mechanical coin acceptance don't they ?

Here is a pic of the removed Q4.
The LED on CC-16 still does not work.
The test/credit button on optics board still does not work.
Yes, after three coins accepted they go to the coin tray.
Any thoughts about this?  Just curious.  I'm happy I can now play with quarters in addition to bills!

The additional coins to the coin tray is good. It means your diverter solenoid is working.

The CC16 LED only turns on when the door is closed.
If it doesn't it could be a defective LED, they do go out and the CC16 will still work.

Thank you.  I think it's important to close the loop and report your findings.  I read so many posts describing similar problem, and people have made recommendations, but the thread just ends with no closure.  I think it's inconsiderate to the people who have tried to help not to report their solution/results.


I did find enough information, both in my posting, and others places I searched, that ultimately worked for me, albeit the dead end threads.  My first slot machine.  My first posting to this site.  This site rocks!
