« on: June 04, 2023, 02:55:33 PM »
Hey guys I have a S2000 enhanced board that I am installing a coin batter holder too and I want some confirmation whether I have the holder oriented correctly as far as the positive and negative connections go? Thank you

It's hard to tell from the picture but it looks to me like you soldered it in the two holes from the original battery holder.  If so it's not going to work as both of those are positive.  The negative connection to the battery is made from the tracework on the PCB itself.  You're going to need to find an original holder or do some modifying to make the correct connections to + and -

Thanks for the reply tilt. The board originally had one of those yellow battery’s that was soldered in using just one of the two holes for the holder. The original holder is all metal and I think I can get one at Suzo Happ

Update and follow up question. I have removed the previous battery holder and I am waiting on the correct battery holder to arrive, a fellow member was kind enough to send me what I needed. That is what makes this  such an amazing community to belong to . . . Kind helpful people.
So my question is this going to be a problem? When I removed the original yellow battery I also removed the old solder using some wick, there was quite a bit of it and in doing so I removed some of the gold coating.

There's a lot of surface area there.  I think you'll be fine.
