Key chip 31 vs 45

I have a 45 chip but I saw on some documentation where a 31 is called out. What’s different?

31 was for 50x boards, 45 for 1270 boards, but the 45 should work for either one.

Outdated information clear and key chips are not boards specific they are department on the sg chips but 45 will work for all sg chips so you only ever need a 45 and an rbk.
