Wild thing frenzy reel tilt
« on: August 17, 2023, 06:29:44 AM »
I just installed wild thing on my S2000.
The first time it got a frenzy pay and the reels started to shake, I got a reel tilt. I don't know if this will happen again.  Any thoughts on this.

Make sure nothing is rubbing on the reels.  Make sure the reel baskets are tight on the motor shafts without any radial play.  You could always try a new power supply.
A reel tilt is caused by the MPU not seeing a pulse from the reel optics when it is expected, or seeing a pulse when it is not expected.

Sometimes a reel isn't completely pushed onto the connector pins all the way too.
Pull out each one and push back in.
Hope that helps!

I would still do as bunker says. Maybe the shaking is causing a weak connection. Did it specify a reel that tilted? Can you replicate the error?

I reset the reels. So far it is not happening.  Maybe the first reel had a loose connection.

I reset the reels...

You mean, you've un-plugged, and re-plugged the connectors?
Doing that sometimes rubs some of the oxidization off of the pins to get better contact.

The problem WILL come back if you don't take care of the oxidization.
They sell some spray solution in a small can (CRC) fairly cheap at auto parts stores.

Looks like in this link below...>>>
