S2000 Backlit Reel Games list

Would anyone have a list out there that tells which S2000 games support backlit reels/strips.....I looked on the old site but didn't know if there was an updated list.

It would prob be easier to list the games that DO NOT support backlight, rather then a list that do.. There are only a handful.. I'll start.


Cigar - SB100001 Does not support BL.. But, You can run a 'Double 5XPay' SB100050 and backlighting will work and play/pay properly, as it's a clone.. Only prob is Cigar reel strips are ONLY made in nonBL..

Triple Diamond Deluxe...supposedly there are backlit strips for this theme, but I have yet to see them.  If anyone has them, hang onto them, as I suspect they are pretty rare.  Everything that I have seen are the sparkle type or non-backlit.

RB has a set in his machine.. They do exist (His are white not sparkle). -He'll post a pic if he reads this.


*Edit - Here is his Triple Diamond Deluxe with the 'white' BL strips. (Wish I had a set..)

Now there's a first (for me anyway, but you know I'm sheltered), no reel glass light? Does make the BL reels stand out more, but does it look ok when you don't have a win? Not too dark?

It seems dark at first but I'm used to it. I have nice strips. The fluorescent light fades strips, reel glass & decals. I just unplug power to the ballast. It does make the backlights stand out more too.

Post a WTB for what you are looking for in the classifieds.


Yes, search on the old NLG site. With about 5mins of effort, you should be able to track down a few posts about making BL strips.

What kind of light is behind that glass!?!?!?

Mine is soo dull..   My buttons have all been upgreaded to LED's, my bulbs behind my glass need to be changed... I'd love to do LED's but they are pricy..  I'm guessing what's what is on that machine?!

I have LED top, reel and belly lights that replace the floro's. Makes the glass glow. (In my opinion). They cost a little more then replacement floro's btw.

You're almost right. Bulb is still there. Power disconnected to the ballast. If you just remove the bulb & leave the ballast hot it will burn out the ballast (so I've been told). I think he might be referring to the denom light. It's the standard LED denom box on IGT 6-6-3 display. Much improved over the 5-5-2 style. Yes the top & belly glass are fluorescent.

Yeah I have "Standard" floro's in my top box, reel glass, and belly.   The Reel glass doesn't look soo bad, but the top box is dim, the belly isn't as dim, but is definitely not consistently lit..

What LED's did you buy/install for your Top/Reel/Belly lights?  I'm okay with buying the LED's, I Figure it will be a once time purchase because the LED's should burn for 100's of 1000's of hours..

I bought mine on FeeBay, Slotrush. They were like $25-$30 shipped. I posted a link on the old site. Look up Slotrush on Ebay and see if there are any left.. For that price it's worth a shot..

I just purchaseda 12X pay game kit that came with backlit strips. The machine I set this up in is aS2000 that did not have back lit reels. I had 3 reels that were back lit and threw them in this machine. They do not lite up. Do I need to do something special?
