SS3343 is a Sizzling 7s 3 Coin Buy a Pay chip. I can't remember if Reel Detectives is a Buy A Pay game or not, I thought it was just a straight multiplier? I've only had one, and that was a while back. Post a pic of your glass so we can be sure and let you know the correct SB chip to get.

If the top prize is the progressive hit you can make it whatever starting value you want when you set up the spectrum's progressive. Set the starting value at $500.

So are you talking about a 2 coin pay is 500 on a reel detective. But it's only 250 on a Sizzling 7

The top prize on a sizing 7 is 1000 coins or $259 it's a quarter game. The reel detective is $600 top prize you get 500 coins for 2 cons played. It's a buy a pay

All we can really deduce from this is that the SS chip is an obvious backup (copy). He can go through the the menu to verify its SS3343, but if the pays don't match the reel hits, it doesn't really matter.

What are the suggestions on the SB he needs?

What would cause the 777 to be treated like three detectives? and how to i fix this. I don't think a sizzling 7 chip is the same game.Is there a way to see whats on the contents of the chip? or diagnose it through the machine?

That is what a clone is, the game chip does not know what the face glass is as long as the payouts are the same.

Triple 7s, Triple butterfly 7s and Triple Red hot 7s are another example of clones they all use the same SB chip ( not the same as yours)

Trust all the people who have given their input, this is  a three coin buy a pay game.  all they did was to make different glass and reel strips  to create a new theme. if you compare the reel strips to the "reel detectives strips you will see they are identical, just different symbols (detective head) for the  sizzling sevens (flames on bottom of sevens ). 

Hope this explains the "cloning"

Trust me there is no modification Trump could have done IGT controls the chips and the data stored in them is heavily controlled by the gaming commission.
If you install the SB100087 your game will function perfectly.

 I wanted to play the exact game that came from the trump plaza that's in my machine. Is there a way to fix my eprom?
I believe in menu 5 you can check the reels and payouts.
There has to be a simple fix, i mean it was working in the casino.

It will be the exact game it is a clone!!
Compare the front glass of your machine and the front glass of a Sizzling 7 the payouts are exactly the same.
Nothing else is in your chip. Your game is using S+ chips in an S2000 the only difference is it will now use an S2000 chip in a S2000 game.
I don't know how to explain this any differently.
The game chip does not know if it is playing a Sizzling 7 or a Reel Detective it plays them exactly the same way. They are the same game!!

You most likely configured your progressive incorrectly. 3C Sizz 7's has 2 levels of jackpots that can be enabled. I believe they are JP0 and JP1. 3 Sizzling 777 on a payline is one of them and three solid red 777 is the other. If you have the wrong JP level enabled (and you probably do), the jackpot will be awarded on the solid 777 hit.

I copied the table and virtual table from the game and there is no  D D D in the virtual reels so I believe the jackpot table is set incorectly
