I was able to source a strut that was very close. I ordered them from a strut shop that got them with a threaded rod end and the correct ends. It’s been so long I can’t remember who I got them from. I remember the threaded rod end was what gave me the adjustment needed to get them to fit perfectly. 8
IGT I-Game and Game King / Re: Game King - Multi-game Keno Power Supply Issue« Last post by brianlisa03 on Today at 07:31:10 AM »Sorry I am just not getting back to my post 2 yrs later. Life got in the way and fixing my poor machine was put on the back burner. I have not found a replacement power supply, and need to locate one. Looking for a replacement for the 13" CRT as well. I would love to change to LCD, but the cost is not feasible at this time. From the original pics i posted of my machine, is there a way for me to tell exactly what type of Game King I have? I have seen dates of 1997 & 1996. No paperwork or manuals came with it either. If anyone knows where I can locate & purchase the correct power supply and ideas on a replacement CRT/monitor, I would appreciate it!

Universal Reel/Video Games / Re: universal slot machine jam« Last post by Pitts256 on Today at 07:23:28 AM »The hopper error lights you mentioned are actually holes in the metal plate behind the error legend paper that are allowing the florescent display light to bleed through. System errors are indicated as a number via the "WIN METER" and typically the candle lights will blink if a error exists.
So that being said if there are no errors displayed and no candle lights lit, the main door is closed and locked, the "INSERT COIN" light should be lit and the machine is ready for play. The "INSERT COIN" light is lit? Try inserting a coin and see if it registers...the "COIN ACCEPTED" light will turn on (if the bulb is good). No "INSERT COIN" light? Check the bulb first, you can check it with an ohm meter or swap with any of the bulbs on the door display panel. If the bulb is okay and still not lit then we have a permissive not being made. Could be the door lock micro switch or white "cherry" switch located just below the yellow reset switch. While your your checking bulbs, check the others on the door as well. Post a photo of the coin comparator and the photo eye(s) below it. The LED should stay lit, we may have a bad connector or a wire shorting. 10

Were you able to locate struts with the proper sized eyelets or, did you have to modify the ball type struts? Also, you are correct about the history. Originally designed by Games of Nevada and then purchased by Bally. They were not too popular as the players did not care for reaction of the motorized reels. rocgod_22, Attached is a chart on measuring the struts. Also is this the machine that was on Offerup in Henderson? |
