Ron. I found it.  You are correct.  2 green wires here with no jumper.  Jumped it and error went away.  Thanks.

Already talked to John about it.  Circuit board looks normal.  Guess it’s going in the trash

Looking for the 45-credits & the 5-quick hit jackpots graphics.  If you have the digital versions, I can print them myself but need to replace them.  The 45-credits is all cracked and the 5-Quick-Hits is faded out per the pic.

Thanks so much

Curtis,

I have had bad cards where the MPU doesnt read the game and only loads the OS as a shell of some sorts (like if your booted up without a game in the CF slot. I set everything up and then when I get into the denom screen there is no game listed in the denom screen like your game is doing.

Also, from the screen shots, everything looks fine. I would try to DISABLE multidenom and see if that fixes everything. The base denom I also set to 0.01 on every setup.

These are just trouble shooting issues that I would go through. Maybe you have already but this should not be hard to setup.

If I remember correctly, the TSE board doesnt communicate with the system until everything is setup and you get the "config in progress". So you can rule out the TSE issue with your setup.

Thanks guys,

I'll answer your questions here....

First, the reason the base Denom is set at .05 is because any others were locked out. .01 and .02 were not available as a selection. The Nickel and Quarter were the only 2 available for selection. Strange.

Second, the Multi-Denom was already on, and locked out, so I was unable to select it for a single Denom game.

Yes, when I select Set, Denom Formatting becomes available, but the game is not shown in the set up page. There's nothing there to configure. See photos above.

I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong in the configuration menu when setting limits etc, but I can't figure it out.

The Game and OS cards are OEM, but it doesn't mean they're any good, however if one was corrupt, don't you think it would shut down the Linux thread when doing verification checks?

And would the TSE Card have any bearing on setting up the game? It's a copy, but boots and shows the image on the top monitor.

I'll try a different Game Card and see if that makes any difference.

Thanks,

Curtis ash100

Curtis,

When you say NO GAME CONFIG... do you mean when you go to DENOM CONFIG... there's no games to setup in that menu? If you dont see the paybacks/Denom settings for the Love Boat when selecting DENOM CONFIG. Then your game card might be corrupt.

If you do see The Love Boat and the denoms, be careful to NOT SELECT $0.001. Some of the older WMS games had this weird denom (maybe for tokens??) which I thought was 1 cent ($0.01)

I don't have a V2 but it's probably the same jumper.

Congratulations! Now that’s a great ending, how amazing to have a tech close by. So glad we could help.

I had a similar issue with my S9000. Occasional monitor flickers that drove me nuts. Sometimes the colors looked faded. It turned out to be the VGA cable connection to the front of the MPU. I could flex the cable and produce the flicker. I was going to replace the cable, but reseating it solved the problem and I haven't seen a flicker since.

Your cause may differ, but it looks like you're checking all of the obvious things.

Thanks for the info, maybe I will try some ectronic contact cleaner on the VGA connections.  As an I.T. I have seen VGA connections do that for years, so it makes sense... reseating didn't resolve it but maybe this cleaner will.
