Shit, I should have taken the same stand.
5 generations of my family have fished the Atlantic Ocean. Now I need a fishing permit. They tell me how many fish and what type I can have. They tell me when I can fish and when lobster season is closed.
I knew I should have brought the AK47 with me when FWC pulled me over in the boat. Hell get caught with short lobsters or out of season and not only will they revoke your license, but they confiscate your boat. If you launched that boat from a public boat ramp and have the trailer attached to a truck they take those too.

Neon, Is correct.  I know quite a bit about "fishing" As I am a ex-shrimper, Dad owned a 32 ft back in the day.  I learned a lot from running the boat for about 4 years in my younger days.  Not only will they take all that --They will take the underwear you are wearing as well when You go to jail.   Gulf of Mexico.  I Been in the atlantic as well back in my Coast Guard days!.

At Least I was a sailor back in 89 .  Main prop and Coast Guardsman of the year-Damn Proud of that also.  I ran the shrimp boat before the USCG. Ahhhh,  The stories to tell.  Port of Gulport supervisor over DuPont Ilmintie Operatioons etc., for 6-years,  18 years as a Tech., Then SR. Master Tech. Ford Motor Company at a dealership-- Last 12 Was Just Diesel.   All that and still getting ready to have to go back to work because the ruddy-poots don't know their ass from a hole in in the ground.   Just the tip of the ice-berg.
