« on: June 23, 2018, 09:42:19 AM »
Hi,

I have a Supermelon 1228 e-series and it does not work
when starting the display at the top shows 666666 then 777777 then 666666...........
The coils of the roll block start up without stopping

Do you have an idea of the problem?

Thank you for your help and nice day

You might want to get us some more pictures of the inside of the machine I do not think that is an original E-Series machine
I could be wrong I only was working in the casino when they came out open the door and take a lot of pictures of the boards that are inside of it

Interesting game. I have never seen a setup like yours in a Bally. No coin switch on the door and the board on the door is new to me, not sure what it’s for? I would start by checking the voltages on the power supply test loops. You should have a 5V, 7.5V, and 10V. I’m wondering if you have a low voltage could be causing the game to reset.

yes it is a machine modified in Holland by Fortuna Automaten.
This company no longer exists
They simplified some cabling and put a new program

The voltages on the control board are good already tested (5, 7,5 et 10V)as well as that on the MPU and I / O boards

I had to change the clock you never know  :Scratch-Head:

I seemed that the clock was working but the 6666,7777.. Something’s causing it to reset. Have you checked the solder joints on the Power supply header pins? They heat up and cool down causing cold solder joints.

Did you check the CR1-CR4 diodes and bridge rectifier. Solder joints on those pieces crack and can cause bad solder joints too. Sounds like either a single rectifier or the bridge rectifier could be bad.

Thank you I have already changed the diodes (the 4) and voltage regulator so I must now find the bridge rectifier or its equivalent
