IGT S2000 and Vision Games / S2000 Power Supply Issue« Last post by Tperna on May 17, 2024, 07:20:54 PM »Iam having another issue though when I run the machine on with the switch sometimes it doesn’t come on, I turn it off and on several times and it then comes on. It acts like it’s trying to come on sometimes with the lights flicker on the board.
I tried replacing the off/on switch with another from a known working machine with no charge. Pulled and reset the power supply. No change. Not sure what else to try. Thanks again for all your help getting it to give credits when accepting bills, you’re the greatest. Thanks Todd 83

I have a few books and I will look into the dip switch settings. Which dip switch settings are you talking about the MPU or Bill Validator? 85

Bally Electromechanical / Re: bally 1090-106« Last post by DavidLee on May 17, 2024, 06:07:15 PM »I believe there are 3 coils mounted on the drop down light board or the back of the cabinet.
Hopefully the labels are still attached. If I remember correctly, one of the coils will impulse for every coin. Causing the odds unit to advance. These coils/switches can be manually operated for testing. Also, check the actual step up unit that might be labeled odds unit. Look for burnt coils, broken or detached wires, contacts out of adjustment, and missing springs. This unit can also be manually operated. Check for smooth operation and a swift return. 88

It's a Bally EM. Go to www.slotmachinerepair.com and click on Helpful PDF's and download the free Bally EM #2400 service manual. Many techs here work on the EM series so post your questions here and someone will respond. 89
IGT I-Game and Game King / Re: Main battery low/ options verification required« Last post by sixcardmark on May 17, 2024, 05:19:03 PM »Like Tilt said - NO settings can cause a low battery. Replace MPU or send it to Lookes to be repaired.

You're missing the hopper... not too hard to find. Hopefully an EM tech will reply here soon... perhaps member Badbaud, Wolftalk, or maybe Chris-socal. Give 'em a little time. This is an all volunteer forum. Again, welcome to NLG. |
