S+ Button sizes?

The buttons on my 1993 S+ machine are cloudy and faded. So I tried to buy replacements from an ebay seller.


After a message exchange, he told me that his buttons wouldn't fit my machine.


Apparently there are 2 sizes of small buttons and maybe the large buttons as well - depending in how old the machine is. What are these sizes?

Are the buttons all square?  3 small, 2 large?  If so, I have nice white inserts for them.

Yes that is what they look like. Inserts would be nice but can you help me with the clear plastic caps as well?

Well, buttons from a S-2000 will fit on a S+ machine, the limiting factor is the lamp socket assembly, some will fit with no problem, others will not snap into place.

I have the set of buttons available for sale.  also have the lamp sockets,

I just picked up a whole new set for mine. Buttons, lables, bulbs and sockets....The only thin I just noticed was the spade terminals are smaller so need to rewire the connectors.
