Almost finished, no payout
« on: November 16, 2015, 11:26:13 AM »
Thank you for everyones help, understanding more and more about these old slots. My last problem is no payouts at all. I believe it has something to do with the wire terminal attached. Two wires come down from the door switch and another from the call attendant switch.. there also was something cut out of the door.. any ideas?

Joe, you can post however you wish, but be aware that the more you spread out the topics on this one project, the more difficult it will be for people to follow what you are doing.  To help you with your pay problems on this machine, I will have to go back to your original topic and re-read all that has been done.  Sometimes I don't have the energy to do that, and sometimes I get confused jumping all around to see what else has been done.
Of course this does not apply to other folks here who want to help you, so do as you wish, but be aware that this may slow down progress if you scatter stuff all over.  One change can affect other things, but I am rambling on.  Nevermind.
Anyway, just follow out wiring, and it all goes somewhere.  And as I have suggested before, keep a log of what you are doing so that you can go back later to change things if you have to.  Also some of the stickies on here might be of help to you and old posts on pay problems.
Good luck and persevere....

I checked the switch works fine. And Ill try to keep it on one post. So the missing part on the door is a ramp switch, was hoping someone may have a good pic of one I could use as reference.

The ramp switch just counts coins going to the drop bucket.  If you want to make the machine all original you could replace and rewire it, but if you are not using a coin drop bucket you really don't need the switch.
