IGT "call attendant" reset procedure

Need guidance on how to reset "call attendant " error on IGT Draw Poker. I didn't have a reset key when I originally purchased and the machine was in working condition. After I was using it and hit the cash out button without enough quarters in the bin it presented this message. I purchased a replacement key cylinder and have installed it but haven't had any luck getting it to reset the message. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to fill the hopper with more coins, then close the door and let it finish the payout.

The term "reset" pertains to resetting (clearing) the jackpot after the hopper limit has been reached.

The machine will pay out until it has completed or it hits the hopper limit - usually around 400 coins.
IF you hit a 1200 coin win - it would pay out to 400 and then go into a hand pay.
The "reset" key then is used by the attendant after he writes a cheque to the winner and it terminates jackpot.

If it paid out only 200 then per the last post you need to refill the hopper and let it continue to pay until it gets to the hopper limit.

You can not prematurely terminate a jackpot prior to the hopper limit being hit.

So with that being said how do I turn off the call the attendant message? I’m new to the machine but an electronics specialist at a hospital and trying to get an understanding. I have looked for the manual or any outlying documentation and haven’t been able to find anything yet. Thank you for your response

That message should change when you open the door.

Open the door, add a bunch of quarters to the hopper, close the door and see what happens.

The knife in the hopper wasn’t picking up the quarters to pay out. Once I fixed it and it when through the pay cycle the code cleared

Thank you for posting back with the fix.
Not everyone is as considerate.

If you open the door and press the white test button (with no credits on the machine)
You can get to a screen and then change the hopper limit to a lower number.
