Limits on BB1 Kaboom ?
« on: February 21, 2015, 05:57:49 PM »
Hi, Just put my Kaboom game in and it seems I can only go to a $10,000 credit limit. Printer and jackpot also $10,000.  Other games you can go much higher. Is this the norm for this system ?
Thanks, KAD

It is a combination of jurisdiction and game type.  Some games are designed for higher denoms, and thus allow for higher limits.  Most of the early bb1 games were really meant for pennies and nickels.  Sometimes a different jurisdiction will allow for higher limits.  But you will find that the later games also have higher limits as players no longer have any issues betting 300 to 400 coins per bet.  In the early days, 45 to 90 coins per bet was the norm with only 9 paylines and some "fancy" games having up to 20 paylines.  Kaboom is one of the earliest bb1 titles.

That makes sense. Wife likes to bet big. $1 denomination = a $100 bet. Anytime credits go over $10,000 it spits out a ticket. Which is OK. I do have a non US Juris chip in.
