What Cabinet To Run Alpha 1 Roulette?
« on: September 13, 2015, 12:14:17 PM »
Hey guys,
Just bought the OS and game card for roulette.
From what ive read I need at least a 1 Gig CPU setup with a dual vid card.
I know it was originally based in the V32 cabinet, but can it work in others?
Could it work in an S9000 with top monitor?
Or will this only work in the v32?
I like the game but trying to be budget wise ;)

Thanks for any help!

Bud

You can run all V32 games on your setup. The problem is that your image will be displayed side ways. What I did with my M9000 was added a second monitor and added rotation to it. The monitor isn't touch screen so I use the sideways monitor to control the touch. Not optimal but works.

Thanks for the quick reply!
So just to be clear, I see your running an M9000 and that does work.
I've got an S9000 (3 reels on bottom, Touchscreen on top) will my roulette game work on this machine, showing the roulette on the top screen?

Or should look into buying an M9000 or v32 cabinet?

Thanks for your help Coolwavepic!

The roulette game will work fine on the topbox screen of the your S9000 elite machine.  It will just be sideways and you will probably need to calibrate the touchscreen to accomodate the different orientation.  That is done in the setup screen, there is an option to calibrate the touchscreen, easy to do.

The real nice way of course is to just get a V32 machine, but they will run you 2K+ usually or even 3K+ for a fully shopped out unit.
