Thanks once Again .....

At this point I'm considering the following ....

Purchasing a "close" related reel strip.  Brush up on my limited Autocad knowledge.  Scan the strip.   Run my old Autocad.  Do the layout for the strips in Autocad then Take the scanned images and create "Icon" of the symbols.   Set up snaps to place the Icons in the proper place and order.    Bring the file to Staples and have it printed on large Photo paper ..  I figure My time + $100.      IF it works I'd be more than willing to share the templates ...

I've lost track of which thread this is and  whether we are talking about the vest pocket or the open front.
If it is the open front, your pay set up is fairly standard and there are no unique pay symbols.

See if anyone near you has a set of standard Mills, 20 stop reels in working shape for sale that are in good shape.  If so, try them out in your machine.  They should work.  If they do, buy them and your problem will be solved fairly cheaply.

Hi Sppedbump.

I've created the "symbol inventory" lists and compared them to all the know reel strips in "Handbook of slot machine reel strips "  by Daniel mead and these do no match any listed reel Strips.    It's possible that the reel disks have custom made w/ corresponding strips.   The Mechanics may have been swapped from another Cabinet as well.    The Current Strips appear to payout correctly and I can find nothing "Close" in all the tables of reel strips I have reviewed .  At This point I see two options - make custom by me or someone else ....

Yes, it is entirely possible they were custom made.  Casinos and repair shops had disk stamping machines for custom jobs (I almost bought a disk stamping machine when I was in the business).

As I mentioned in a previous post, your reel combinations only paid out around 50 something percent, which was way below what most machines normnally paid, so more than likely you had reels that were custom made for fomeone who wanted to rip their customers off.
Again, most Mills machines take the same, standard set of reels.  Unless you are absolutely set on reproducing the same exact reel strips, you should be able to get your machine working by putting in another set of Mills reels from another machine as long as it had the same symbols.  You don't have to worry about the order the symbols are in as that is taken care of by the holes punched in the disks.  Doing so will probably be a lot cheaper than having new custom strips reproduced.
