Hello good people,
I have a 1997 SP and the BV will not operate.
1. New power supply. Plug n play.
2. Two red lights are on by the dips.
3. Ran Setup 123, good.
4. Duck bill will only light up when dip#8 in on. (They were all ‘off’ before)

Still no cycling of the BV and not accepting any bills. I do have an extra WBA 12 but the cables are different.
Any, any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I also ran the dip switch test and both the head and transport function.

Is the yellow bezel light lit up on the outside of the door? Can you post a picture of the dip switches on the BV.? Have you enabled the BV with the Set chip?

Bezel light on when dip switch 8 is ON. Besides that they are all off. RAN SETUP 123.

When I ran the dip test the BV seemed to function. Some of the switches tested sensors but I don’t know what to look for on these tests.

Try using a set15 set chip to set denom and activate BV (9_1). IVC123 is a clear chip.

I don’t have a SET15 chip but I do have the IVC123.

What is a setup 123? Does it allow you to set denom and enable the BV? (9-1) You should not need to clear unless in a 61 loop.

Setup 123 is supposed to set up the BV from what I’ve gathered.

SORRY WRONG CHIP NUMBER. Set015 was what I used. Just ran it again, no movement from the BV.

I must of mistaken it with the IVC123.

Ok, ran the set015 again and now I actually hear the BV turn on. The dips are all set on off. Outside bill light is off, (duck bill?). No noise or movement when I try to insert a bill. Now if I put the dip #8 on ON, the duck bill lights up and blinks. Try to insert bill, still nothing…..?

Leave all dips in off position. When you used SET015 you set it to 91 and set the denomination at the same time? 25 cent. Didn't leave denom set at 0?

They were all off when I ran the set015. Set denomination at 5 cents.

Did you change the 9_0 to 9_1 to enable the BV?

It does have movement at startup but no light and won’t accept any bills.

Cashbox is right side up? Cashbox door is staying closed ? Has the cashbox door switch been jumpered out?
