BB1 Error

I need help with a BB1. The error i am getting is


Non volatile Ram Error
Critical/rngmgrData
Game Mgr
NV2::Validate FileHDR!=ValHDR







How Do you solve this problem?

NVRAM corrupt, replace batteries in MPU and perform a clear.

I did replace the batteries with new ones. I Ram cleared the machine set it up and then played it. It worked fine for about half hour and then i got the call attendant and got this error.


But the batteries are new ones.


Can be slack batteries or something? Cause when i did what you said it did work it just went back down again after.

Are the batteries snugg? I once had an Alpha MPU with LOW BATT error with new batteries and it turned out the MPU battery holder was loose and didnt have enough pressure or contact. Check and make sure those batteries are snug.

also i have 550 nxt onversion board with no video. i swapped the ram out but nothing.




what could it be

Make sure you are running the newer BIOS v.2000 as well............. The chip is right there on top of the board near the JUR chip.

Otherwise it may just be a bad board/memory.............

That looks fine...........How long have you had this board??  Did it ever run correctly for you??

Can you get a picture of the whole board perhaps??

You may just have a board in need of repair/replacement................??
