That's what she copped to. Its theft under $5k.
If its a first offence - and probably is as the Casinos won't hire people with criminal records for theft she won't see any jail time.

I wonder how much she really stole and over what period of time..... $3k/day over a year with 200 shifts... potentially as much as $600k

I hope that she got a sizeable sum as she is probably banned from working at any Casino which means she is done in Vegas.

The theft happened as the Sands casino in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. But she's done as far as a job in any US casino, the word is out, the story appeared in the Las Vegas newspaper. Sorta foolish for her to try stealing in an elevator where there are cameras, as an employee you'd think she'd know all about the cameras. I didn't see the video, maybe she turned her back to the camera when loading up the bra. Seems odd that their money procedures would allow an employee to carry a tray of high-value chips like that alone, no security escort or other employee, that's just asking for temptation to take over. She admitted it right away afterwards, probably knows it was a stupid mistake.

Kevin was kidding about the $3k being in dollar chips. I've seen some large-featured females but they didn't have much room for anything else in those cups,,,,,
plus 3,000 chips stuffed in there would make some rattling noises when she was walking around. 

One time I was playing blackjack at a table with several people, a lady at the table lost a hand and was out of chips. She reached into her bra and brought out a couple of chips, pushed them forward for change. The dealer hesitated for a second to touch the chips, we were all watching. Not sure what he was thinking about, she was an attractive middle-aged woman, casino chips in general are handled by lots of dirty hands, boob-germs aren't a big deal. Anyway, he took her chips and counted out some red ones for her. He then broke the silence by saying those were the warmest chips he had handled all day.
