Mark, I went back to the beginning of this thread and seeing that this Ceronix unit is from a Bally video poker, then the Ceronix units that Gordy's selling will not work in your machine! They are configured for IGT video poker machines. The Ceronix chassis has many uses, and does work in different machines, BUT it has to be setup or configured for each venders machines seperately. That is done by jumper settings on the bottom of the Ceronix circuit board. It is done with changing solder connections. So you see it's not going to be a plug and play fix with your machine. Your best and fastest way to get that machine running now lays with K-Lar in Vegas. Call and talk to Larry Weber at 702-363-9998..

I did email Gordy last night.  He e mailed me back today...

Said he is out of the 1492 chassis. Will have some in 2 weeks.

he asked me about what ballys machine i had so i sent him pics of the machine..

i will also call K-LAR and see what he has to say..

Or just match with your old chassis.

got the monitor some what working......

it come on and it has a horazonal roll that wont stop.........

i have tryed the adjustment knobs and still just rolls.....

Mark,  What did you change? I have a couple ideas, but need to know what work has been done so far, caps, flyback, ETC... There are a couple things that could cause that.

Did the seller say that it was setup for use in a Bally Video Game? If not then its going to need to have its jumper setting changed on the curcuit board its self. There are lettered solder jumpers on the boards bottom that need to be changed for these boards to work in different models of games. Depending on what games too, sometime components are added or removed from the Ceronix boards. This is all explained in the back of the Ceronix manual for the 1492 chassis.

this is all new to me..

There should be a section in or near the end of the manual that shows you a diagram of each models, or vendors jumper settings. They are in alphabetical order.

Here is a copy of the 1492 Ceronix manual in pdf form... The jumper settings are in the back pages...  Gary
