Model: Apple IIe
Symptom: Cannot connect printer

Card was missing the connector dongle. Built a replacement dongle, attached printer, and tested.

Model: Apple II+
Symptom: Dead

Recapped power supply and tested. System would randomly crash. Replaced 1 bad RAM chip and a bad ROM. Tested. System would randomly crash on accessing slots. Cleaned corroded legs on multiple chips and tested. System would not recognize floppy controller. Cleaned controller edge connector and tested. Keyboard had several non-functional keys. Replaced 7 Datanetics keyswitches and tested.

Model: Apple IIe
Symptom: Random crashes

Customer had already rebuilt the power supply. Ran built-in diagnostics and system would randomly crash. Successfully tested RAM with external tester. Tested the CPU, IOU, ROMs, and MMU. Found the MMU had pin 1 replaced and the donor pin was was corroded and making poor contact. Replaced donor pin and tested. Pin 1 was a ground pin for the IC and the poor contact affecting the whole IC's operation.

Symptom: Will not boot. Destroys disks.

Replaced bad 74LS05 and tested.

Symptom: Shorted. Missing parts.

Replaced 4 electrolytic capacitors - one was shorted. Installed 2 missing DRAM chips. Tested.
