tito without a printer

i asked, was told yes,  but need another confirmation please...machine is set up to accept and payout tokens...there is NOT a printer in the machine...will this basic unit still work to accept tickets from another machine with the same board in it?  will it still payout the coins to the hopper limit?


if the answer is yes, does anyone have directions to set it up..i have the set that came with the tito, but thats expecting me to use a printer



and before you ask yourselves, "but why would you".....i dont know..its just what i am being asked to do...am trying to talk him out of it but, the heart whats what the heart wants lol

i did, but being sunday, doubt he will answer..was hoping to have an answer today so i can get an answer to the other guy and hopefully get this project completed today

I was thinking of doing the same thing with my older Game King with a 3803 board. Does not have a printer installed. It takes bills and coins and is set to payout so much in coin and the rest is a hand pay. But if I install a TITO board and get it to except tickets from one my other machines I could due away with the bills and use just the tickets. I would hope that when you put in a ticket and play a little and then decide to cashout it would payout the set amount in coin and the rest would go to a handpay. The reason behind this would be that you don't have a lot of cash lying around. Thanks for any input on this.

Did you try normal tito settings after machine is already set for hopper payout?

I don't have a TITO board on the older Game King. I was thinking of taking one from one of my other IGT machines and putting it in the older one and trying it that way but don't know if I would get a error because of no printer installed.

not sure who you are asking, but yes..i set it up exactly as i would with a printer, if the options were there..then reset the hopper like it was before

I have a machine that operates on a TITO system without a printer.  My other TITO machines have printers and yes you can use tickets from other machines on it.
Set it up using the normal TITO settings and set the hopper limit and pay out limits to what you would like. If you cash out under the limits it will give you coins from the hopper. Over the limits it will default to a hand pay and the jackpot key will clear the credits

Almost forgot when you key it don't forget to change the voucher limit to follow the credit limit. That may be why it won't take the other TITO tickets if they are above the bill limit settings.

Got it!  i had to change the settings of 7-1-7 and 7-1-7-2
