So ive tested for voltage at the harmess end what the monitor  chassis
Plugs into when slid back
Traced the wires back to the distribution module
4 go to on off switch (assuming 2 go back)
And 2 go to monitor plug
Testing at the monitor plug it goes from a range of 0 volts to 1 volt max
Very sporadically

Im assuming this may be the issue?

I have continuity in the wiring to the monitor power board but
On testing the out wires i have no voltage
Is the monitor power board fixable or is it better to just get a known working one?

Hopefully have it working in a few weeks😂

Recapping it may fix it if you have the skills/tools to do it.  It would probably be cheaper/easier/faster to get a 12V 4A (or better) brick style power supply, velcro it down to the monitor frame, and splice it in on the AC and DC sides.

Here's a couple of documents that may be helpful if you want to try the repair route.

Yeah, it has enough capacity to power two monitors.

The two white wires should be the ground (V-) and the two black wires are +12v (V+).  You can confirm it with a multimeter.  The white wires should read 0 ohms between them and the monitor frame.

Ok.  In one of your earlier posts you said there wasn't any power going to the A/D board from the power supply.  Did you check to make sure power is getting to it now with the new power supply?

Sounds like you have more than one problem.  This might seem silly, but some have a power button in addition to the menu buttons, have you checked and pressed it if so?

Yeah they fail like anything else.  There's a small surface mount fuse on it just above the power connector.  It's labeled F1.  Check that with your multimeter and see if it may have blown.

Fuse is ok tilt👍As i live in england and shipping would cost an arm and a leg for a kortek monitor
Would a decent technician over here be able to adapt a uk monitor to fit?

Well I guess it's not going to be a simple fix then.  Probably something else on the A/D board has failed.

You may be able to rig something up cheaper than buying and shipping a 19" LCD from the states.  I had a LCD panel that I broke trying to replace the CCFL tubes  :banghead: .  Turns out that same panel was used in some Dell 17" LCD monitors.  I was able to pick up one pretty cheap on Ebay and took the panel out of it.  You may be able to do something similar only with a 19" LCD of course.  You'd no doubt have to do some engineering to mount the panel on the frame, find another location for the touchscreen controller, etc, but it could be done I'm sure.

It's serial, but uses IGT's proprietary Netplex communications protocol.  In other words you're stuck with the touchscreen & controller that it has on it.
