i would like to just spend the 100$ and upgrade the parts so it accepts current bills could you let me know which parts i need please and thank you for all the help

Why don’t you go to the classifieds section and post that you are looking for a wba bill acceptor for a splus machine upgraded to accept the new currency. It will not accept the new 100 dollar bill. You will also need the outer and inner bezels along with a power supply
You may also need a game chip if yours is older. What is your game chip #
Did you ever find out if your bill acceptor is activated.

bigbig, it won't matter getting a different validator if the setting on your machine is off. Spend 5 minutes and check to see what option 9 is. The instruction given are so very easy to understand. My 10 year old grandson just did all the settings for me for the first time. Future Tech??

is that the number on the eprom chip because its unreadable where else will i be able to find the game chip #

If the DBV is "ON",  stick a one dollar bill in there face up and report back to us what happens.

You have an old, outdated DBV....it does NOT take any bills with the larger American heads.

Spending a $100 will not do you any good until you clearly answer with punctuation,  the questions the guys are asking you.

ok! it still wont accept a 1$ bill its like when i try to insert the money it goes into this cycling phase its tried to pull it in for a brief second than reverses it. Also im getting the 12 error code for the battery ive changed it but how do i reset it to stop displaying the 12 error code ive done this before i rigged two triple a batteries and soldered them to the board to get the correct volatage but now they have ran out of juice so i have to do it again.


My main priority right now is buying the new validator that accepts everything but the new 100$ i would like to buy a kit or all the parts mostly with 1 or 2 transactions i dont understand how to make a post to classifieds so is there any members you know who sell these parts or any website links you might be able to post and again i appreciate all the help..... You guys are the real MVP's sorry for any bad grammar or punctuations, and seeming helpless and dumb im trying my best but remember i just want to know which parts i need to upgrade.

No aaa batteries soldered together . Get the correct 3.6 vdc 1/2 aa battery. Either the tab or axle connection


Once voltage goes below 2.9 vdc it triggers code 12
