Ballys S6000 Games on Alpha Issue Pleaese Help!
« on: January 31, 2024, 07:21:04 PM »
Good day everyone, its been a minute since I have been on here.. I have been away from the machines for a while now due to personal injury.
Although I had someone reach out to me that picked up a machine years ago with an issue.

Its a 4 Reel Alpha Bonus Frenzy using the Convertor board with Ballys S6000 Chips populating all spots.

I went to have a look.

Display was SGD in big letters with CALL ATTENDANT

I turned KEY SWITCH, and the machine display read

Abnormal Program Termination
Turn attendant Key to preform reset
GameMgr = 498
disconnect=3

So i decided to swap out the MPU and Back battery, and do complete clear.
MPU-200173

BIOS Chip
- AVBPROD0R807-00
-
Top Card OS - AVOS00000317-02
Game Chip - ASGS9000C000-03

Once machine cleared i re-installed OS and Game Chip
Machine starts to boot and goes right back to screen

SDG - Call Attendant.

So I have since tried absolutely everything, Different MPU, another Bios Chip, S6000 conversion Board, Jurisdiction chip,
New power supply on MPU, In machine.

I had a bunch of different Ballys S6000 conversion boards and tried a whole new one with different game all together. (Same CF cards though)

I clear machine between everything i Tried.

The only thing I dont have if another 317 and Game CF, of the same...

I have a Ballys S6000 convertor 335 but that didn't change anything.. always comes back to same screen.

Any help or in-site would be great, i tried searching this up without any real luck.

Could it actually be the Balls S6000 chips themselves? I tried with only Slots one populated, same result.
Bad CF Card??

Steve
