SP1271 Clear and set chips.

Hi All, I have the dreaded 61 loop after changing the battery, what clear and set chips can I use to reprogram this sucker.....Thx

IVC103 or 123 should clear it. The PSR for SP1271 suggest several set chips but a SET015 should enable your validator. Before clearing your machine, remove the cmos chip from the MPU for a minute or two, then reinstall & try to clear the 61 again. Sometimes that will do the trick. Thanks to Darell (slots4home) for teaching me that trick recently. It worked for me.

If you don't need to set anything but b/v. The set 15 should work good. If there is more to set up besides that try one of the recommended set chips.
No progressives etc. 15 will work.

Next to the game prom. Dip switch side. CMOS should be printed on the board.

No luck with the cmos trick so I had to do a clear, I have my <7>[1] hopper limit set at 400 and <7>[2] single win limit to 3000......So im thinking that if the machine has more than 400 credits and i hit the cash out button it will go to hand pay ?
